My New Resume Web —— A Work of Art
I rewrote my resume website, and the new version is truly a work of art. The design is simple, beautiful, and modern, supporting English, Japanese, French, and Spanish. It is the best multi-language switch resume I have ever seen.

My previous version of the resume website was made five years ago, when my knowledge of React was still quite basic. I decided to rewrite the entire resume project using Next.js and TypeScript, which took me a weekend.
The Beginning
Recently, I participated in a front-end interview for a company that included a take-home technical assignment. Although it was a simple assignment, the phrase "you're the artist" in the assignment sparked some thoughts.
Code & Art
Coding is also a form of art. For a programmer to become an artist, they must create their own artwork. So, I decided to rewrite my resume website and turn it into a piece of art.
Design
Traditional website designs usually offer a choice between light and dark themes, which lack innovation and uniqueness.
I chose four themes based on different countries: Japan, the United States, France, and Spain. The theme switches along with the language:
- Japan: When the language switches to Japanese, the theme changes to a Japanese style with a cherry blossom pink color (#f9e5e5).
- United States: When the language switches to English, the theme reflects the Statue of Liberty with a green color (#98dab4).
- France: When the language switches to French, the theme changes to the Eiffel Tower with a nighttime gold color (#e4ea8c).
- Spain: When the language switches to Spanish, the theme reflects Barcelona's iconic Sagrada Família with a red color (#b85042).
